My journalism covers a range of subjects from Northern California and Southern Oregon, including cannabis, gambling, and policing, as well as issues around water and land-use. I've published in High Country News, Undark, and the Baffler, among others.

I'm currently working on a documentary about cannabis farming and rural politics in Northern California. Before that, I lived in India researching land-use change in Chennai, in the state of Tamil Nadu. There, I studied history, political-economy, and the real estate industry.
