My writing and documentary filmmaking covers a range of subjects from Northern California and Southern Oregon, including cannabis, gambling, and policing, as well as issues around water and land-use. I've published in High Country News, Undark, and the Baffler, among others. 

My first documentary, Holding on to Shasta Vista, will be screened this Fall.
