Journalist and filmmaker 

My journalism covers a range of subjects, including cannabis, gambling, and policing, as well as issues around water and land-use. I mostly write from the Klamath-Siskiyou region, and have published in High Country News, Undark, and the Baffler, among others. 

I've lived in India for almost two years researching land-use change in Chennai, in the state of Tamil Nadu. There, I studied history, political-economy, and the real estate industry.
